Exams: Destroying and Reconstructing Happiness

Well, here comes exams back again to ruin the happiness of everyone. Without doubt, exams should be given the no.1 award in the category of omen. Their arrival not only takes away all the happiness, but also dilute the peace and calmness to zero, disallow to sleep and much more. Actually, exams take the test of your patience, 'Brother, let's see how long can you be without being exasperated.'

Although exams are one kind of evil, doing Satan's job in today's world but on the bright side, it has many advantages as well. Yes, exams do have advantages, but yeah obviously I'm not stating with reference to knowledge and marks part. See, while being in Hostel, I learn that the only time you remain in the room with other room mates and friends is the night time as you go out in the morning, finish your classes, roam around the campus and get back only by evening. So, when the exams come nearby, out of fear of marks, parents or grades, you would certainly be glued to one place for the whole day rather roam around everywhere and that's the time when you struck a real conversation (the emotional and sharing one) with your friends as obviously you can't stare at your book for that long, hah!

As I'm reiterating, exams although ruin everything but helps to bring friends together. Like, mostly you will feel miserable while preparing for it and it's common human tendency to talk to your friends about anything which you usually don't other than the topic of exams. You would have the urge to be in a conversation with the friend sitting nearby and you would feel nostalgic and talk to you friends who are not much in contact.

Exams makes you to do all the insane things which you don't want to do when occupied. It's a common observation that out of nowhere you would get fond of movies and TV series. You would become so desperate to watch something and cheat with yourself by saying, 'Just one episode of 20 minutes and then I would study' or 'I should play Fifa 13, transfer season is up, after that I would study.' Moreover, you will make plans of  expedition amid the study and would dream of it intermittently and the best part of the exams is you will fall in love with the sleep again.

Actually, doing all the weird things keeps the mental pressure down, although some regret later of wasting the time but it is nice to be more involved in friendship, watch all the pending episodes and movies, finish your game and sleep satisfactorily. Exams come and go, but the beauty of it would never fade away. It is up to you to do all the weird things apart from studying and make it pass away quickly by enjoying it or stay recluse and irritated while gazing at your books constantly.

Source of MOTIVATION

Motivation, well if you ask someone, what it is? Everyone would answer something this and that and eventually they are somehow the same and prolix, but if you ask them from where does they get this motivation, the answer differs. Some have seen vicious past, some have a strong aim to achieve, some wants to prove to everyone what they really are. Everyone has got their reason, everyone has got something to achieve, but the only roadblock they get is Motivation.

Well, nothing lasts forever, and so is this motivation. You saw a movie for say, Social Network, your adrenaline rush is on fire, you make all the ideas to be the next entrepreneur, to be a college drop-out, to be something big who no one else is and indeed you start working towards it. But, obviously it won't last a long time, it has to fade away sometime, your mind has to be blank again, it has to search again for motivation.

I was motivated from a person, a writer who is the editor of a magazine, editor of many clubs in our college. I simply asked him about the source of his motivation. And the response which he gave me was hilarious, a bizarre and intensified as it was certainly calling to moot.

'Whenever all the wrong thoughts cross my mind, whenever I become a pessimist, whenever I'm out of the ideas and ready to quit, I imagine my mother weeping for me, I imagine my brother patting me, I imagine my father hugging me and I imagine my good friends rising me up. Yes, I do, I think of the day when my novel will be published and the time, when my mother would cry in joy, when my father would be proud of me, when my brother would proudly say to his friends about me.

Moreover, I day dream that I'll be invited to some institution as a key Motivational Speaker and being nostalgic at that moment and explain my story to the youngsters who would be in a desperate need to be motivated. I'll explain them the value of being rich from the rags, to be something different from the bunch of similar people, to rise up from the grave and to be a personality. I day dream the time when I'll be famous, when very other person would be running to get an autograph, to get a glimpse and that is success.

Well, all these dreaming keep me unabated and unfazed from anything, take it bullying, the peer pressure, pessimism or anything, I certainly don't feel aback from these little pity things, just because I see the smiling faces of my close people, how proud they would be if I achieve my goal. I consider only two options for any problem in my life, 1. Success and 2. Try Again.'

His words were imprinted on my mind. He definitely changed my perception and showed me a new way to be motivated. I certainly had the goosebumps when I listened to him patiently. Well, it is simple that whatever your aim is, work for it, make a strategy and conquer it with passion. Intense work is mandatory to achieve your aim, be unscathed from the beleaguered situations, from the usual shackles at every corner. Be motivated, be pumped, achiever your aim, be impeccable.

The Idle Mind

The fundamentals of every other person says not to sit idle, to do some work and when they are completely exasperated they use to use slang like, 'You'll destroy your life sitting like this' 'You can't make money sitting idle' 'You are such a dull pathetic creature' and much more which I can't obviously write. All these slang comes from the people who are closer to you but let's not move in that way at-least now.

What I believe is that the power, the real power of brain, the thinking capacity is generated at the most when you are idle. Usually you do nothing, maybe because of a weekend or before exams tension, or irritated from everything or possibly you don't what to do anything, you believe in staying recluse.

Although its an imbroglio situation to handle, to get a control but if you utilize it properly and efficiently then you might turn up with the next big plan to be the next big thing. Actually, every person is creative in his own way, some knew it from a small age, some realizes it later and then there are some, who always fell that they are creative but do nothing in transforming it.

For example, the idea of myself being a writer or poet came from an idle mind while pooping. It was 1.5 years back when every friend of mine was busy playing the game counter strike and I sat there idle looking at them. Moreover, as this weekend started, I decided to be idle and it went awesome, as I got an idea for a project within few hours being idle.

It's lame to say to every idle person that they are useless, although some are, but that's the perfect time to think out of the box and work over it. The idle mind is necessary in its own way, it takes us away from the regular work tension, classes, projects, assignments, arrogant friends, career etc etc etc. It's the placid thing to do.

So, believe me, if you are shrouded by many problems, take your time, calm your mind and do nothing, I do mean nothing. Mind is an equilibrium, if you won't work, it will to make the system perfect and hence bringing about some of the brightest ideas ever.
